Furman in Driver's Seat for 'The Valet'

Alcon Entertainment has signed director Brad Furman to take up helming duties for their upcoming project The Valet. According to Variety, the film is inspired by a true story, stemming from a parking attendant who became obsessed with a female customer and systematically inserted himself into her life. The film was scripted by Alan McElroy, with a rewrite by Matthew Aldrich, and should see release first quarter next year. The Valet will be distributed by Warner Bros. through an output deal between the two studios.
