Apparently the good people at EA Games saw something they liked in the Zack Snyder-directed projects Dawn of the Dead and 300 because it was announced late yesterday that EA has brought the Watchmen helmer on board for a three-title development deal. According to WorstPreviews, Snyder’s deal will mimic that which Steven Spielberg signed with the publisher in 2005, allowing Snyder to produce said projects through EA’s LA-based outfit (EA was originally based in San Fran). EA will own the rights to the intellectual property with options on all three titles, in order, possibly, to send them to the big screen. Given Snyder’s relationship with fanboys and the teenage male audience this deal could prove big for EA. Stay tuned.
