The Scream Awards Add a Little More Lung
Spike TV is wowing the masses even more with their line-up for the 2008 Scream Awards. After recently announcing the list of nominees for this year’s ceremonies, Spike has now sent out a press release that boasts even more surprises for viewers. Performing live at the 2008 Scream Awards will be the very famous and very albino-looking Smashing Pumpkins AND Swedish hottie/rock sensation Kerli. Not enough for ya? Okay, well on top of that the Scream Awards will also bring you never-before-seen footage from the highly anticipated Watchmen and Friday the 13th remake! Yes, get your chance to cower at Jason and marvel at Dr. Manhattan (and possibly get cancer from his irradiated body). Yes, the Scream Awards are pumping up the madness and you can witness it all from the comfort of your home!
The Scream Awards will air on October 21st at 9/8c, only on Spike TV. Among the bevy of awards that will be distributed to nominees such as the comic book Hack/Slash, the box-office giant The Dark Knight, and the gore-fest The Ruins will be honors bestowed upon the legendary Sir Anthony Hopkins, creepster extraordinaire Tim Burton, and the grandfather of the slasher flick Wes Craven. Be scared or be square!
