The Korean site Star has the first pic from the upcoming Chan Wook Park-directed vamp flick Thirst. Chan Wook Park is the genius behind titles like Sympathy For Lady Vengeance, Oldboy, and a third of the anthology film Three Extremes (which, if you haven’t heard, is f**kin’ terrifying!). Oldboy is a favorite of mine, and a nice little gore-fueled romp, so it’ll be nice to see Park take his sick mind and put it to work on a vampire movie. The picture is of the lead Song Kang-Ho whom you might remember from the incredible monster movie The Host (or, if you’re familiar, Park’s Lady Vengeance). Kang-Ho plays a priest (or a monk or something) in the film, and is turned into a vampire by a medical experiment gone wrong. Check out the pic below…
