'Whisperer' Is A 'Hole' In One For Teri Polo
Fear not people… Hollywood has heard your cries and they have responded to the incantation that has carried across this great land: “More Teri Polo! More Teri Polo!” …Errr, yeah, sure. Well whether you were shouting that or not (and if you were can you please join a fan club or something, there’s no need to raise your voice) one thing’s for sure – you’re still getting more Teri Polo. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Domestic Disturbance star (no, she’s not married Bobby Brown – it’s a movie) has got a few roles in the pipeline for horror lovers. The first is a guest spot on the Jennifer Love Hewitt supernatural mystery show Ghost Whisperer. Polo will play the fiancee of somebody close to Hewitt’s character Melinda. Uh-oh, I smell a cat fight...
Polo has also nabbed a role in horror vet Joe Dante’s supernatural thriller The Hole. The pic centers on Susan (Polo’s suspected role in the film), a mother who moves with her teen sons to a rural house where the three are forced to face their fears after discovering a bottomless hole in the basement. The THR article about Polo’s involvement in the project also confirmed that Haunting of Molly Hartley star Haley Bennett has signed on for the pic as well. Two ladies in one day… Joe Dante, you old lothario.
The Hole, written by Mark L. Smith, plans to begin production December 5th and will shoot the film in 3-D. No word on when you can expect Polo’s two eps of Ghost Whisperer but my guess would be later this season. I guess you’ll just have to stop yelling “More Teri Polo” from your rooftops and tune in to see.
