'The Dark Knight' Swoops in on Blu-ray
Do you want a completely ridiculous and non-cost-effective version of The Dark Knight on Blu Ray? Well you’re in luck! TheHDRoom.com has caught the specs for the Super-Special Blu-ray edition (or whatever it’s called) of The Dark Knight and boy is it expensive and borderline unimpressive. Now don’t get me wrong, I loved The Dark Knight – in fact I reviewed it for FEARnet and it was gushfest 2010 – but take a look at the picture of what this entails and tell me you’d pay 65 (count ‘em… 65!) U.S. Dollars.
Okay, now that you’ve taken a look… ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! We’re supposedly expected to pay an extra forty dollars for a replica of the Batpod. I’m already being haunted by premonitions of me selling that thing at a yard sale in the future for seventy-five cents (although in the future there won’t be yards, there will be moats outside of every home, technically making it a moat sale). I don’t know, maybe I’m just crazy. What do you think? Would you pay an extra forty dollars for a stationary toy Batpod?
