Magnolia Pictures is rolling out an anthology of films titled the Six-Shooter Series, and it has some pretty interesting titles—including the award-winning Timecrimes, the extremely intense-looking (and I mean, we’re talking Hard Candy level intensity) Donkey Punch, and the movie any horror fan should to be dying to see this fall—the vampire flick Let the Right One In.  Another selection in the Six-Shooter Series, Eden Log, a very stylistic science-fiction tale, now has a poster—and it looks pretty crazy.  Well now thanks to Magnolia Pictures we have the first one-sheet for Eden Log which you can view below.

The film involves a man who wakes up at the bottom of a cave, in some sort of dystopian future, and unaware of how he’s arrived there.  Now he must make his way back to the surface through an abandoned wooded area left behind by an organization called Eden Log, as he’s pursued by a relentless and menacing creature.  All I gotta say is that if they put half as much effort into the story of this film as they did into the look, then prepare yourself for one helluva movie.  This one looks like Pan’s Labyrinth meets The Descent – which is something I wouldn’t mind seeing too much.  The film was directed by Franck Vestiel and hits theatres in limited release February 2009.
