'Tyrannosaurus Rex': It Could Be A While...
Yeah, so remember this summer when we got all those posters and release dates and concept art (and empty promises) for the film Rob Zombie is "currently working on" entitled Tyrannosaurus Rex? Well I just found out the reason Zombie was being so vague about the film’s plot (and incidentally the reason I put "currently working on" in quotes): he hasn’t written it yet. Yes according to an interview with Zombie housed at Blabbermouth.net, the director revealed, "I haven't even written the script yet. All I have is one sentence." Looks like Mr. Zombie attended the Michael Bay school of filmmaking. Not much else has been revealed about the film, expect that it will be about "the biggest bad-ass fighting even badder-ass motherfuckers." So apparently the film will be about... cursing. I’m in. Tyrannosaurus Rex has an official release of late August 2009 – but with a script currently one sentence long, I’m starting to have my doubts about that date.
