'Dr. Who'? More Like Dr. Quitter!
The Doctor Who torch is being passed once more. After playing the tenth Doctor since 2005, actor David Tennant announced last night at the National TV Awards in London that he will be stepping down from his role as the Time Lord. But hold on their, Horton, this isn’t the last you’ll hear of Who. Tennant remarked at the awards show that he’s still got a few TV movies continuing the cult sci-fi saga lined up to air in 2009. "I'm very excited because in January I go back to Cardiff to do four new specials which will see me through to 2009 – but when it returns in 2010 it won't be with me,” the actor told audience members, appearing by way of live video feed. So who will be the next Who? Too bad Tennant is abandoning his time travels or he could help us find out… Stay tuned.
