A Variety article this morning confirms that Ron Perlman will join the likes of Samuel L. Jackson and Morgan Freeman… BY BEING IN EVERY F***IN’ MOVIE EVER. That’s right, after announcing his involvement in two different projects in the last two weeks, Kid Gorgeous has secured another pay check – this time in the newest flick on Voltage Pictures’ slate, The Devil’s Tomb. Voltage recently nabbed the foreign sales rights to the Jason Connery-directed supernatural thriller, which also stars Cuba “The Gooding, The Bad, and The Ugly” Jr. and Ray Winstone. Tomb is currently in post production, which can only mean one thing… git ready to git yo Perl on – soon! The film, shot for just under 10 million dollars, sees a team of mercenaries on a rescue mission in a Middle Eastern desert uncover a mystery hidden for thousands of years. I personally am hoping that the mystery is a mummy so we can perhaps get a crossover pic with Brendan Fraser and Cuba Gooding as a ragtag duo of mummy-slayers. Because I insist that if something be bad… it be horrible.
