Cute 'Jerry Maguire' Kid Loses 'Innocence'

Remember that cute kid from Jerry Maguire with the glasses too big for his little round face?  Yeah?  Well terrible, terrible news… he’s still acting.  Yes, his name is Jonathan Lipnicki, and a very post-pubescent version of himself has found work joining Dev-O-Ron’s serial killer thriller The Other Side of Innocence (which I’m sure Lipnicki is well acquainted with).  According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lipnicki will return to the screen as a damaged young man who becomes romantically involved with the unhappy daughter of the local chief detective while a serial killer is threatening their town.  Former child star?  Banging the town sheriff’s daughter?  Malicious serial killer on the loose?  Yeah, he’s effed.  Innocence was written by Robert Redlin and directed by Devorah Cutler – who also produced the project alongside none other than Lipnicki’s MOMMY!  Oh boy.  Here’s a bit of advice Lippy – if you want to be a big boy actor, cut that umbilical cord.
