What Do You Get When You Cross the Super Friends with the Undead?
…Super Zombies!! I know, I know – it’s too incredible to be true. But I’m proud to say it is! Newsarama picked up some early artwork and story specs for the Marc Guggenheim-and-Vince Gonzales-scripted comic (let me just make sure you’re grasping the awesomeness – it’s called SUPER ZOMBIES) and man does it look awesome. The story in its most basic form is about heroes and villains forced together in a battle against the undead – sounds pretty run-of-the-mill right? Guess again, buster! These zombies have super powers! I know, I’m gushing like a school girl over a Jonas Brother, but you can’t deny how cool this is gonna be – even if it is very Marvel Zombies-esque (hey, I’ll take more of that, thank you). The comic plans to launch in March with five issues already locked down for sure. The art is by Mel Rubi – check it out below!!
