Director Darren Lynn Bousman sent us in some pictures of anxious fans waiting in line to see Repo! The Genetic Opera – and even some who dressed up for the occasion.  While Repo! only opened in eight theaters nation-wide, the horror community came out to support it, and helped Repo! score one of the top per-theater averages of the weekend.  The pic grossed $51,600 in it’s eight locations – coming to an average of $6,450 per screen, a number that trumped eight of the weekend’s top ten flicks (only the weekend champ Madagascar 2 and number two spot Role Models topped it – Role Models with just 400 more dollars per theater).  If you haven’t seen Repo!, check out where the flick is playing and get out there to support offbeat horror – and in the meantime check out our pics from the Repo! showings around the country.
