Man, IM Global Entertainment just can't stay out of the news lately. After announcing last week that they would bring horror fans not one but two 2001 Maniacs sequels, the company has struck gold on another low-budge, independent horror project. According to Variety, the supernatural thriller Paranormal Activity has seen sales sky-rocket to over 30,000 times what the film's budget was, just three and a half days after its initial screening last Thursday. Damn, now I gotta see this flick-a-roo! Helmed by rookie Oren Peli, the movie centers on a couple trying to document poltergeist activity. It's good to see small horror films like this doing well and getting the support of fans – just remember to give it a look when it comes to YOUR town.
