James Cox Conjures Up 'The Summoner'
The psychological horror flick The Summoner has found a man to rally the troops in director James Cox. Cox boarded the project just in time for casting, which is currently underway in preparation for a January shoot according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film, written by Matthew Sands, centers on a young man experimenting with the dark arts, who summons a supernatural being into our world. But when his control begins to slip and the situation turns deadly (and, honestly, was there any doubt it would?), he must stop the onslaught of evil before it's too late. Remember kids – those Ouija boards are fun, but be careful with who you bring back to the mortal realm! Joel Silver, by the way, is producing the project alongside David Gambino.
