'Twilight': Already Sold Out At a Theater Near You...

Yes, with sequels aplenty already being green lit and Valley tweens clawing each other’s eyes out to touch the hem of Robert Pattinson’s garment, it’s no secret that Twilight has bitten moviegoers everywhere and turned America into one helluva vampire lovin’ nation.  So it probably comes as little to no surprise that if you haven’t already swiped tickets to see Thursday’s film debut of Stephenie Meyer’s popular book series then you’re probably SOL.  Variety’s reporting that online ticketer Fandango has already sold out over 500 midnight showings of Twilight for November 20th in pre-sales, and while Twilight’s fanbase is primarily female, leading some box-office analysts to wonder what its opening numbers will be like, Sex and the City: The Movie – another film with a similar-but-slightly-older fanbase – walked away with 57 million dollars its opening weekend, a number unheard of for a film with such a specific demographic.  MovieTickets.com has reported that for the entire weekend it’s already sold out 400 showings.
