California’s Gothy metalcore outfit Bleeding Through just announced the kickoff of a new US tour to promote their recently released album Declaration.
Well known in genre circles for their horror-themed promo art and Chainsaw Massacre-style video for “Kill to Believe,” the band’s profile has climbed higher and higher over the last few years – they toured extensively as second-stage headliners at Ozzfest and the Download Festival, and have supported artists like Marilyn Manson, Slayer, HIM, Lacuna Coil and Bullet for My Valentine. But this time around, Bleeding Through will be the headlining act – the first time for a US tour since their Truth tour back in 2006...
"We are very excited about headlining the states next year," said lead singer Brandan Schieppati at their official website. "We are looking forward to playing a lot of tracks from the new CD and some old favorites as well… we're bringing bands along that we love in order to create the best show we can.” Those supporting acts will include The Acacia Strain, As Blood Runs Black and Impending Doom.
The band will be updating their website and MySpace soon with the new US tour dates. But in the meantime, you can see band members Brian Leppke and Ryan Wombacher weigh in on horror movies in FEARnet’s Interrogation Room.
