Tremble At the Trippy Trepidity of 'Tremors'...
The Thunder From Down Under… it’s not just what I call Hugh Jackman when I’m all by myself anymore. Nope, according to Cinema Blend, it’s what we’ll all be calling the fifth installment of the Tremors franchise. Hooooooold the phone. Rewind that. The fifth installment of the Tremors franchise? Yes, it’s true. Universal will be rebooting everyone’s favorite ground-dwelling, vibration sensitive carnivores. I think the last time I watched a Tremors movie it was on VHS but I guess everything has a place in the new age of digital technology – especially ground-dwelling, vibration sensitive carnivores. Not much is known about the project aside from the fact that it’s at this point lining up to a DTV project (‘natch) – but one thing is for sure… with recent advancements in CG technology and gore-centric wave of horror flicks that have been owning the box-office these days, this movie could actually deliver the goods. Call me xenophobic but I’m ready to see some Aussies get eaten!!
