Hollywood sure is getting their due for trying to turn any and every comic book ever written into a movie… After Tom Jane got totally hosed in his pursuit to play famed anti-hero Jonah Hex by writers and tentative directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, who went with star Josh Brolin, Brolin expressed hesitation about taking on the role – unsure of whether or not he was 100% on board. Now an article in Variety indicates that Brolin is definitely secured but Neveldine and Taylor are not. Neveldine and Taylor have reportedly departed from the project leaving helming duties as a blank. The duo cited "creative differences" as their reason for the split (and honestly when hasn't this been cited as a reason for a director leaving a project?). Warner doesn't seem too down about Neveldine and Taylor's decision to exit as they have stated they'll be moving quickly to get a new director, determined to keep Brolin in the fold for a spring start. Stay tuned people – this is about to get interesting.
