Down on horror comics? Well don’t be! According to ComicMonsters we -- or at least everyone seeking scares of the illustrated variety -- can expect more than a few things to celebrate in the new year . So when should you expect these delights? In February! Below we've got some covers for a new comic called Dead Irons, which looks pretty awesome. Written by James Kuhoric with art by Jason Shawn Alexander assisted by Jae Lee on cover duties, Dead Irons follows three undead bounty hunter siblings as they trek across the wild west bleeding the criminals unfortunate enough to cross paths with them dry. Umm… undead bounty hunters, people. If your heart's not racing you might be dead.

What else looks good in February? The return of Marvel’s totally awesome Captain Britain and MI: 13 – for which we've also got some concept art below. Here's the official plot synopsis for the series' next installment, issue number ten. "The king of the vampires is back. As if the hoards of demons that Pete Wisdom let out in order to defeat the Skrulls in England weren't enough, now Dracula has entered the scene. What does he want with Spitfire? And how will an election help his cause? You better hope that Captain Britain and the rest of MI13 have a way to defeat him!"
