New 'Whiteout' Poster
Haven’t heard much in a good long while about Kate Beckinsale’s next film Whiteout, but today there’s a new poster – reminding all of us that somewhere out there a roll of celluloid with the film on it still exists. The poster (courtesy of Filmz.ru) is actually pretty sweet, putting use to vast color contrast between the snow that this film is bound to have loads of and the blood we’re hoping it will have loads of. Whiteout, directed by Dominic Sena, follows a U.S. Marshall (Beckinsale) as she tracks down a killer in Antarctica before the sun is about to set for the next six months. Sounds like Silence of the Lambs meets 30 Days of Night, though I doubt it will be as quality as either judging by the amount of time the film has sat on the shelf. And the film still won’t release for almost another year, on September 11th 2009.
