Whose favorite film in the Halloween franchise ISN’T the one that doesn’t have Michael Myers in it? And who could forget the sequel to Fright Night, the creatively titled Fright Night II? And what of the sequel to John Carpenter’s Vampires, Vampires: Los Muertos (speaking of Bad Medicine, this film literally stars Jon Bon Jovi)? All of these wonderful films are the life’s work of one man: Tommy Lee Wallace, who according to The Hollywood Reporter will soon return to theaters once more -- to take you punks to school. Tommy has teamed up with FarCor Studios and Indusa Global to co-write and direct Helliversity, his first feature in six years. The film, which Wallace co-wrote with Steve Langford, focuses on a group of American exchange students terrorized by a vengeful spirit while locked inside a high-security foreign university. Vengeful spirits? College students in a place they’re not familiar with? I’m liking the way this sounds already! Shooting begins in Los Angeles and India this March.
