Jonah Hex is going for record.  The film is about to rack up more incarnations of itself in about two months than Watchmen did in a decade.  So what is it this time?  Well, Latino Review sat down with Punisher: War Zone director Lexi Alexander, who revealed that now she’s been sent a script for the film!  As you may or may not know, the screenplay for Jonah Hex was written by Crank/Pathology scribes Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, who were set to direct until a few weeks ago when the two run afoul of some – you guessed it – “creative differences,” and then hit the road.  A similar thing happened with casting when Thomas Jane dressed himself up like the disfigured anti-hero in a bid for the role – a bid on which Neveldine and Taylor politely passed, before handing the role to Josh Brolin.  I’ve yet to see War Zone but it looks pretty off-the-wall.  Do you think Alexander is well equipped for this job?
