We love the smell of Napalm Death in the morning! The British legends of righteous grindcore have announced the arrival of their new album Time Waits for No Slave early next year: late January in Europe, and February 10th in the US. Co-produced by the band with Russ Russell at Foel Studios in Wales, this album is lucky number 13 in the group's 27-year history (not counting their cover album Leaders Not Followers Part 2) and promises more of the skull-crushing down-tempo riffs and machine-gun double kicks that continue to earn them metal's highest accolades.
The always socially-aware band promises the new album will “explore fundamental aspects of our so-called modern life and point out that ideas of servitude are still existent.” Of course, this will be achieved through what they describe as “intense, devastatingly brutal songs that venture into groovier, neckbreaking mid-tempo passages to allow the listener to take a breath before vicious blast beats pummel you out of existence.” Hell yeah.
To mark the occasion, Century Media has revamped the band's MySpace to include the new album art and tracklist, and best of all the band has added the first new track “Diktat” to their player. Metal up and get some!
