Black Tide's WARRIORS Will Become LEGENDARY
Not too long ago, we scooped you on the “Warriors of Time” animated video series from Florida's old-school metal outfit Black Tide, and those intrepid young lords are back again with another cross-media concept: they've joined forces with Spark Unlimited, creators of Xbox action/horror video game Legendary, to give gamer metalheads a chance to mash up their two favorite pastimes like peanut butter and chocolate.
A visit to www.blacktidemusic.com/legendary will provide fans with all the tools they need to intercut concert footage of the band with clips from Legendary to create their own music videos for the band's single “Warriors of Time.” Once completed, videos will be uploaded to YouTube with a corresponding link on the contest website. Band members and game designers will choose the winning videos, with a nice collection of prizes up for grabs including a gaming computer and a pretty sweet guitar.
The deadline is February 22, so you've got plenty of time to conceive your masterpiece. In the meantime, check out this example below:
