Steven Seagal Is Gonna Scissor Kick Some Vampires!!
Just when you think you’ve got this life all figured out, something…happens. Apparently pony-tailed, DTV martial arts godfather Steven Segal has been paying attention to box-office trends, because Sony Home Entertainment has just sent out news that Segal will be starring in a, you guessed it, straight-to-home-video vampire movie – entitled Against the Dark. The film is set to hit your local video store on February 10th 2009 but I don’t think you’ll be able to wait that long once you read the plot synopsis below. It literally brings tears to my eyes. “Katana master Tao leads a special ops squad of ex-military vigilantes on a massacre mission, their target: vampires. On the post apocalyptic globe, sucked dry by bloodthirsty vampires, a few remaining survivors are trapped in an infected hospital. Tao is their only hope and he knows the only cure is execution.
