Hinder Makes Deal with "Devil" for New Comic!
Publisher Devil’s Due – who made a splash at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con with a preview of the comic series Rest (created by Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia), and who have also licensed both the Halloween and Child’s Play film franchises – announced a new joint venture today with multi-platinum rockers Hinder to produce Take it to the Limit, a limited-edition comic documenting the band’s 2009 tour.
Band leader Austin Winkler sees the project as a dream come true. “Growing up every kid dreams about being in a comic book, or being a super hero,” he says. “We have a new and exciting opportunity to be portrayed in a comic book series of our own… We are going to have a blast with this!”
The debut issue of Take it to the Limit is the first in a proposed monthly series, and the band hopes to include fans’ input in the creation process. “They will be heavily involved in this,” Winkler says of their fans. “We think they will love it. All in the name of rock ‘n’ roll!”
