David R. Ellis, director of Snakes on a Plane and Final Destination 2, is ready to get back to the set after recently finishing next summer’s Final Destination 4. According to Variety, Ellis has signed on to direct the killer-thriller Six Days Till Midnight. The film, written by Mark Bacci, focuses on a wealthy businessman who encounters a stranger who says he has six days to answer one question. For each day he doesn't get the answer, a loved one will be killed, ending with the businessman's death at the end of the sixth day. Sounds like the stranger just messed with the wrong guy, because I smell the makings of a badass vigilante being born from the businessman’s ashes in the third act! (Yeah, I watch too many movies...) Six Days Till Midnight will kick off production in April. Ellis’ Final Destination 4 will release in 3D this coming August.
