Old Scotty Kosar, writer of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake is reuniting with Platinum Dunes for an untitled supernatural thriller about satanic cults, reports Sci-Fi Wire.  Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller mentioned the project in an interview, describing the plot as being about “a college girl whose brother dies, and she goes to investigate his death and finds he was into some pretty freaky stuff.  She wants to get to the bottom of it. And doing so, has to see some things that maybe she didn't want to see. Things that are unsettling."  Pretty cryptic.  Dunes has been doing some awesome horror stuff over the past few years, producing Kosar’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake (as well as the prequel) as well as the upcoming The Unborn and Friday the 13th remake. Not to mention that they officially announced yesterday that their next project is the Nightmare on Elm Street reimagining which goes in front of the camera in ’09.  This project seems interesting and while I don’t know about Kosar’s writing too much – the man sure as hell can write a great Jessica-Biel-getting-chased-in-a-tight-white-wet-tank-top scene.  Stay tuned for more details to drop.
