'The Day the Earth' Made $31M!
The critics said it was crap, but was The Day the Earth Stood Still crap enough to get beat in the box office by a Vince Vaughn comedy in its third week? Surprisingly, no! Earth topped the box office this weekend, pulling in $31M. In third place was the teen vamp romance (a flash in the pan, at that) Twilight, which pulled $8M. Other than that it was biopics, Bond, and Holiday movies making their mark this weekend. Okay Keanu, good hustle. Did you see The Day the Earth Stood Still? What did you think?
