Hey there, y’all. As you know, Coraline, adapted and directed by Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas) from the Neil Gaiman book of the same name, hits theaters this February. And if you’re waiting for more news and images from the film, wait no more – because FEARnet has got an exclusive for you today! Focus Features has been distributing special Alphabet Cards all over the internet and today FEARnet has the letter ‘F’ – for “fawesome!” Actually, the ‘F’ is for FEARnet (as if you need to ask). "Fawesome," on the other hand, is not a word. Featured on the card is a character from the film – the comical spinster Miss Forcible – along with a little poem about her. Check out the image below.
And when you’re all done getting a look at FEARnet’s new Coraline image, check out the newly launched Coraline website. Upon entering the page you’ll see a slick little animation sequence that shows off the talents of director Selick. The website also sheds some light on the characters in the film and the brains behind it, and it features a whole bunch of other fun stuff, including a game that challenges you to find ten secret items hidden about the site. Happy hunting, FEARnetters!
