Sci-Fi must have some kind of inside stock tip because they are buy-buy-buying up all the Ghost Hunters they can get their mitts on. Ghost Hunters, the first genus of the brand, will be getting a sixth season with the network. And Ghost Hunters: Next Generation, a collegiate-edition of the popular show, has been green-lit for a six-episode order alongside of another season of Ghost Hunters: International. But Sci-Fi has also locked Hunters creator Craig Piligian into a deal that will set him up to develop his own series separate from the franchise -- the first of which, if all goes to plan, will premiere in 2010. "Craig is a star performer who's been a great partner," Sci-Fi’s Executive VP of Original Programming Mark Stern told The Hollywood Reporter. "You want to be in business with people like him on a consistent basis." Keep those scares coming, Craig!
