For the longest time, I thought the guy at the end of the subway car singing “Amazing Grace” with his hands in his pants was the scariest train encounter anyone could ever have. But recently, I’ve been proven wrong with the whole slew of subway-horror stories we’ve been seeing. Whether it be the scenes that take us through the subway tunnels in Cloverfield, the 2006 Maurice Devereaux film End of the Line or the 2008 film adaptation of Clive Barker’s The Midnight Meat Train, the subway is now one of the scariest places known to modern man. Adding another to the list is Leonard Zelig’s SubHysteria, the newest in a string of subway stories about "Sixteen people stuck in a subway car in NYC for 36 hours, without communication, food, way to escape, and a fatal sensation that they are going to die. A raw display of human behavior when one confronts the possibility of death". For more, check out the official website and hit the jump to watch the teaser trailer now!
