'Franklyn' Trailer Unmasks A New Vigilante!
Today, we stumbled upon the trailer for an upcoming sci-fi flick, Franklyn, starring Ryan Phillippe (I Know What You Did Last Summer). Franklyn, is the story of four lost souls in a futuristic--and quite religious--London society. One of said souls is that of Preest (Phillippe), a masked vigilante detective who fervently searches the streets of Meanwhile City for his nemesis. Though the film, written and directed by newcomer Gerald McMorrow, may not see US theatrical distribution, it’s set to hit the UK on February 20th. And while the concept may be convoluted, there’s one thing that’s for sure. Slap a fedora on that masked vigilante (Phillippe) in the trailer and its helloooo Rorschach.
