Dark Side of the Golden Globes!

It’s a pretty well known fact that our genre’s only interaction with A-listers is at the beginning of their meaningless careers (looking at you Brad Pitt a la Cutting Class) and it’s not often that horror/superhero films are honored by the Hollywood Foreign Press. But this year’s Golden Globes denied tradition and really took a liking to the darker side of the globes! And though horror fans have known about the good stuff all along, it’s always nice to reflect on that Hollywood high-five we got last night! Mariska Hargitay (Law and Order: Special Victims Unit)
January Jones (Mad Men)
Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer)

Also, big ups to 28 Days Later and Sunshine director, Danny Boyle whose latest film, Slumdog Millionaire--the furthest thing from horror, may I add--took home Best Director, Best Original Score and Best Screenplay.
