'New Moon' Un-Cast Rises!
Looks like Vanessa Hudgens is being sent back to the Mouse House folks because we just received word from TwilightLexiconBlog.com that Hudgens was NOT trying to claw her way into another sickening tween phenomenon, New Moon. Originally reported by MTV.com, Hudgens was rumored to have auditioned for the role of Leah Clearwater, a werewolf in the Twilight sequel; however, according to Hudgens’ agent and New Moon screenwriter, Hudgens won’t be lyin’ down a Lycan anytime soon!
"If Vanessa is auditioning for the role of Leah,” said Melissa Rosenberg, New Moon scribe. “She’s written her own pages to read, ’cause I didn’t write ‘em." Apparently, Leah’s character won’t even be IN New Moon. I guess we’ll have to stop affectionately calling Hudgens a bitch now? It was fun while it lasted. Tough break werewannabee.
