Amidst his looming legal troubles, Roman Polanski (Rosemary's Baby) is gearing up for a new thriller feature based on the Robert Harris novel The Ghost. Despite a recent appeal and request to dismiss his molestation conviction from 1977, casting must go on! According to Variety.com, both Tom Wilkinson and Jim Belushi have been added to the cast of The Ghost which already includes heavy-hitters like Pierce Brosnan, Kim Cattrall (lucky for her she's 13 about 6 times over), Ewan McGregor and Olivia Williams. The Ghost, written by Harris and Polanski is about a former British prime minister who takes to an island to write his memoir when one of his aides drowns and the event triggers "political and sexual intrigue". What the hell does that mean? Anyway, the report did not confirm, nor deny whether or not said "drowned-aide" was actually a 13-year-old youngster.. Sexual intrigue? We know how ya' roll Roman...
