'Halloween 2': It's NOT a Sequel!
It’s official. Halloween 2007 is NOT a remake of John Carpenter’s Halloween. In case you were sleeping, it’s a “reimagining” and Halloween 2, titled H2 is NOT a sequel to Halloween 2007, the non-remake. Additionally, H2 is NOT a remake of Halloween 2, the definite sequel to John Carpenter’s Halloween. Instead, H2 is actually the continuation of Halloween 2007 as one long film with two separate parts. You following? Yeah, me neither. That’s why it’s probably best that you check out an interview that our pal Tim Sullivan (2001 Maniacs, Driftwood) conducted with the reimaginative-non-remake-non-sequel maestro, Rob Zombie. In the interview, Rob talks about the controversy, the details, the status and the level of “sadistically vicious” mayhem set to take place in H2. H2 begins shooting in Georgia next month.
