I love it when a plan comes together, don’t you? According to Variety.com the anticipated summer 2010 film, The A-Team, has collected some heavy hitting “heroes for hire” to get behind the film adaptation of the 1980s series. Included in the newly slated creative team are Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces) set to direct, Ridley Scott to produce and Tony Scott to executive produce. Also producing is TV series creator Stephen J. Cannell.

When John Singleton was originally slated to direct, there was significant buzz about Woody Harrelson starring as Murdock, Ice Cube or Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as B.A. Baracus and Bruce Willis as John "Hannibal" Smith, let’s hope they can inject some life (and death) to make it one crazy, mohawkian ride...

Production is slated to begin in June 2009 for a June 11, 2010 theatrical release.
