According to Variety.com shareholders of Stan Lee Media Inc. are suing the pants off of our beloved geek icon! Named as defendants in the $750 million suit are Stan-the-man, his unimportant-as-far-as-I’m-concerned wife, Marvel Entertainment Inc. (New York) and former Marvel CEO/wacky producer Avi Arad. Stan Lee Media Inc. are seeking profits from films and other works based on Marvel characters, including Spider-Man, X-Men and Iron Man, that the shareholders say belong to the company, which recently emerged from bankruptcy in 2006.
