Films about serial killers aren't exactly a rarity in Hollywood and according to The Hollywood Reporter, Monster producer, Clark Peterson is set to produce another serial killer film in the near future! Dear Mr. Gacy is a film based on The Last Victim, a memoir by Jason Moss about the young twenty-something who began obsessively corresponding and meeting with the infamous serial killer John Wayne Gacy in 1994. Moss gained tons of celebrity exposure for the meetings and eventually, tragically committed suicide in 2006. Such a dark and twisted tale, so who is fit for the role? Non other than William Forsythe who is set to play the infamous serial killer while Jesse Moss (The Uninvited) will star as Jason Moss (doubting any relation). Slated to make his English-language debut at the helm of the film is Svetozar Ristovski. Dear Mr. Gacy is set to start filming in Vancouver this month.
