New York Comic Con 2009: Pocket Books Gets 'Revamped'

Today at NYCC we swung by the table of Pocket Books, one of our favorite genre fiction publishers, to check out its latest offerings. Pocket told us its latest trade paperback title had arrived just today on their doorstep -- J.F. Lewis' urban fantasy Revamped, a sequel to his vampire thriller Staked. In this new title, Lewis continues the adventures of his hard-living-and-dying vampire hero Eric, who, obliterated in the previous tale, finds himself in a new body and out to save his lady love from a pack of demons. Mario Acevedo (whom FEARnet Guest House blogger John Picacio recently interviewed on our site) describes Revamped as a "a pedal-to-the metal demolition derby of sex and violence." Yep, sounds like our kind of read.
