'Body' Builder Takes a 'Breather'
I’ll tell ya’, that stripper-turned-blogger-turned-screenwriter-turned-Oscar winner, Diablo Cody never sleeps, but according to a report from Production Weekly, Cody will take a breather very soon! The report tells us that Cody is slated to produce Breathers: A Zombie’s Lament, a film adaptation of the debut novel from S.G. Browne which hits stores on March 3rd. The concept is familiar but could serve as an entertaining zomb-romp (yes that’s zombie romp) in the right hands. Breathers is centered on Andy, a guy who finds himself shunned by society when he dies and comes back as a zombie (Jesus nods) but finds solace in Undead Anonymous meetings where he meets fellow zombies and develops a penchant for human flesh.
Geoff LaTulippe is set to pen the script. And while Cody is at the producing helm of Breathers, her latest screenwriting venture Jennifer’s Body, is due out in theaters September 18th.
