You might want to take this with a grain of salt, folks, but the New York Post is reporting a strange tale of real-life horror. At a party this weekend at New York's swanky M2 Lounge, actor Warrington Gillette, who played the unmasked Jason Vorhees in Friday the 13th Part 2, was apparently cut by an overexcited fan.
Gillette donned a full Jason costume, complete with axe, and stepped onto the club's stage engulfed in dry ice smoke. Well, being a horror fan, I'm sure you know how these things go. One overzealous woman, "jumped on stage and tried to grab his ax.' Gillette managed to wrestle it away, but sliced his hand badly in the process. 'It was straight out of a horror movie,' one spy added. 'Lingerie-clad models were running and screaming, as a blood-soaked Jason ran off the runway to get to a hospital.'"
Trust me -- get that scene into the remake's inevitable sequal and you'll get another sure-fire smash opening weekend.
