Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a 'Loser'
Overweight, washed up, cloaked in a bathrobe and slippers. Yup, I’d say Jeffrey Dean Morgan, a.k.a. The Comedian---the beefed up ex-superhero, whose unexpected murder kicks off the Watchmen saga as we know it---is a "Loser" of sorts. I mean, you saw P.S. I Love You, right? Yick! Appropriately, Variety.com has just announced that Morgan will star in a DC-Vertigo comic-book adaptation of The Losers, about a band of black ops commandos who set out to exact revenge after their own government set up to have them killed. Apparently, they saw P.S. I Love You too! Sorry Jeffy! But I’m sure you’ll make more than amends with your role in Zack Snyders adaptation of the most beloved graphic novel of all time! Currently, The Losers is set to be directed by Sylvain White (I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer) while James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, Spider-Man 4) scripted the project.
