Making Romero's '...Of The Dead'
When we park outside of George Romero’s house on a Friday nights with night vision goggles and a canister of Pringles, we don’t really come up with much more than a headache and a lap full of crumbs. But today, sans-goggles, we found a 5 Minute Behind-the-Scenes featurette (after the jump) of George Romero’s Untitled Dead Project which was prematurely labeled …Of The Dead.
According to IMDB.com, the film is about an island off the coast of North America, where local residents simultaneously fight a zombie epidemic while hoping for a cure to return their un-dead relatives back to their human state. To be honest, since this project hasn’t been given a definite title and has been kept sort of “hush, hush” we’re thinking this footage WASN'T supposed to hit the web just yet (Or was it an intentional 'leak'? You tell us). George Romero’s 'Untitled Dead Project' is currently in production and due out sometime in 2009.
