Vampires? Zombies? Werewolves? Brandon Routh? Seems like we’re covering all bases. Anything hitting here? Well, today, according to HollywoodReporter.com producer Gilbert Adler is beginning production on a horror comic adaptation, Dead of Night with Greg Cannom---the dude that won the Oscar for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and turned Brad Pitt into a 'garden gnome'...
The film will be adapted from the 1986 Italian comic series Dylan Dog and will be directed by Kevin Munroe (TMNT), with a screenplay written by Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly (Conan the Barbarian). Apparently, the script is now set in the deep bayou of Louisiana from its original UK location. Smallville’s Superman, Brandon Routh is currently slated to star as a private investigator who stumbles onto the world of the undead. Dead of Night production is now underway in New Orleans.
