'Friday the 13th' Sequel in the Works!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, talks of a Friday the 13th sequel have officially begun. The remake had an impressive opening, but quickly dropped at the box office (80%!), still there's enough left in this money making machine for more. It's unclear which direction producers Platinum Dunes will go with this, but one thing is for sure...
...according to the article Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, who wrote the original (remake) will begin work on the sequal (remake?) soon. Ideas are spinning...who will return, which direction will the story take? It's unlikely that we'll see anything too familiar, as THR reports, Dunes will likley take the story in a comletely new direction using the first film (a combination of the first 4) as a jumping off point. It's all speculation at this point but rest assured, as things develop, we'll be there.
