Wondercon 2009: 'Chuck's' Yvonne Strahovski on Her Thriller 'The Canyon'

Chuck star Yvonne Strahovski appeared at Wondercon today, along with her co-stars Zachary Levi and Adam Baldwin, to chat about this season's remaining episodes. But I made sure to ask the lovely Aussie about her upcoming indie thriller The Canyon, in which she stars opposite Will Patton. Strahovski told me she doesn't know much about when the film will be released, but explained a little of her role in it -- as a (potentially) blood-splattered bride.

"Yeah," she said. "I don't know anything about it. I don't know what's going on. It's about a newlywed couple who get married, shotgun style, and go down and have a honeymoon at the Grand Canyon, where things go horribly wrong."

Does bloodletting ensue?

"Maybe," she said with a smile. "Tragic things occur, yeah."

As for what's next on Chuck, Strahovski indicated she may soon play a bride on her TV show as well. "There's weddings!" she said. "There's passion and romance."

Regarding where she'd like to see her undercover agent go in the show's third season, the actress told us she was currently unhappy with her cover: "I would like to not work at the yogurt store anymore. Why can't I be a travel agent or something?!"
