Sam Raimi's upcoming return to the genre that made him famous – Drag Me to Hell; a tale about a loan officer who gets more than she bargained for when she tries to evict an old woman from her house – is debuting a little earlier than anticipated. The film will play as part of the South by Southwest film festival's midnight section of programming.
Raimi himself will introduce the film – which stars Justin "Mac Dude" Long and Beowulf's Alison Lohman – at a special screening at the Austin, Texas festival at midnight on March 15. (The festival runs from March 13 to March 21.) Drag Me to Hell will open in theaters across the country on May 29.
